Michael serves as a Partner at True Oak Ventures as well as the CEO and CIO of MC Enterprises, which is a long-term oriented, family owned. permanent capital holding company for acquiring and growing SMB. In the portfolio, home and property services are through the platform company, Rezy Services LLC, which owns Z Plumberz in GA and MA, Aire Serve in Long Island, Rezy Commercial. 

FMC Enterprises also owns MC Business Advisors, as well as a VC portfolio backing talented entrepreneurs. Previously, in commercial real estate, Michael built an apartment portfolio in the Southeast to $600 million in AUM with subsidiaries in construction, property management and new development.  

He has over 30 years’ experience in finance, private equity and real estate with Price Waterhouse, Security Pacific Bank, and through his Family Office. As a principal, Michael has acquired and financed more than $2 Billion in acquisitions and development deals for industrial, multi-family, commercial, and single-family development and also sold, invested or scaled growth companies for more than $500 million in venture and private equity business investments, including founding and building National Investment Managers to be the largest independent pension administration firm, growing from 4 employees and $200 million in AUM to over 800 employees and $13 billion in AUM largely through over 25 “tuck in” acquisitions in 4 years.

Michael graduated from San Diego State University’s Honors Program, cum laude with B.S. in Accounting. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School OPM, is a CPA, and holds a license as a real estate and business broker. Member of Harvard Club of New York, Young Presidents Organization, IBBA. Michael is also a director of the Multi-family Housing Association, LYNK, a VC blockchain company for alternative asset managers and his portfolio companies. 

Michael is married to Christina and together they have a blended family of 5 adult children that are well established in their professional careers. Michael also enjoys tennis, golf, skiing, reading, writing, travel and was a jet rated pilot for 20 years. They live primarily between Miami, East Hampton and Atlanta. Michael is working on a book for Aspiring Acquirers for the age 45-65 cohort, as well as a new podcast and YouTube channel showing people how to build wealth by buying and scaling smaller companies.

Colin serves as a Partner at True Oak Ventures, where he drives the firm's efforts in acquiring, scaling, and brokering manufacturing businesses to support American industry and job growth. With a background in self-storage facilities, he also manages a personal portfolio of four such properties, totaling over 40,000 square feet.

With over 20 years of experience in real estate, entrepreneurship, and business scaling, Colin has built a distinguished career in acquisitions, sales, and marketing. After graduating from The Ohio State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts, he founded Valor Homes, LLC, a residential real estate investment firm in Columbus, Ohio, through which he successfully completed over 50 transactions. 

In 2007, recognizing the potential of digital platforms, Colin launched RealEstateInvestor.com, an online community for real estate investors that grew to over 100,000 members, providing unparalleled networking opportunities and access to top-tier real estate education. He successfully exited the platform in 2011 to a strategic advisor.

Leveraging his expertise in digital marketing and business development, Colin has driven multiple companies to achieve 7- and 8-figure revenue growth by scaling their sales and marketing operations. His strategic vision and operational acumen now fuel his leadership in building a robust portfolio of home services and manufacturing businesses, with a focus on acquiring and growing small- to medium-sized enterprises.

Colin is the creator and host of the YouTube channel Buying Boring Businesses, where he interviews top industry experts to share insights on acquiring and scaling small businesses, inspiring entrepreneurs to build wealth through strategic investments. Based primarily in Columbus, Ohio, Colin enjoys travel, fitness, and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.   

 Mike has nearly two decades of fundamental investing experience, having invested professionally at several multi-billion-dollar investment managers, on behalf of large institutions, pensions, and endowments.

For the past four years, Mike has been CEO of Excelus Manufacturing Solutions managing all aspects of operations, business development, finance and M&A.

Prior to founding Sky Peak & Excelus, Mike was at HBK Capital, an $8B multi-strategy investment manager where he focused on investments across the capital structure. 

Prior to HBK, Mike was at DDJ Capital, a fundamental, credit-focused asset manager with $8B of AUM. Before DDJ, Mike was in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Investment Banking group at UBS.

Mike graduated magna cum laude from Boston University’s School of Management and currently lives in Greater Boston with his wife and daughters.

When not working, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and getting outdoors as much as possible.

Oscar is an accomplished Operations Executive with over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering, specializing in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. A certified

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt since 2009, he has successfully led initiatives that drive cost reduction, quality enhancement, and supply chain optimization across multiple plants.

Oscar has served as the Customer Focus Team Leader at Celestica, where he significantly improved on-time delivery metrics and increased throughput threefold. He was also the Senior Manufacturing & Customer Business Operations Manager at Ultra Clean Technologies, where he increased on-time delivery to 95% and revenue by 15%.

Oscar has also held leadership positions at Prosomnus Sleep Technologies and Beckers, where he managed plant start-ups and implemented strategies that resulted in substantial business growth and improved operational efficiency. His tenure at 3M encompassed various roles, including Operations Manager and Process Engineering Manager, where he

achieved remarkable improvements in yield and lead times.

Oscar holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Université du Québec à Montréal and a degree in Chemical Engineering from ITESM, Mexico. His expertise in strategic planning, cost control, and process optimization makes him a valuable asset in driving organizational excellence and operational success.

Andrew Feeney is an Autonomous Mobile Robotics Engineer and Technical Sales Specialist with over a decade of experience in robotics integration, automation, and consultative technical sales. He specializes in delivering autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solutions that optimize manufacturing and warehouse workflows, leading projects from initial demonstrations through fleet deployment and post-installation support.

As Senior Mobile Robotics Engineer at RoBEX / Acieta, Andrew led the deployment, commissioning, and project management of AMR fleets for industrial clients, integrating robots with warehouse management systems to drive throughput and efficiency. He also conducted technical sales presentations and live demonstrations showcasing ROI for advanced robotics solutions. His work supported Fortune 500 customers and smaller industrial manufacturing companies.

Previously, Andrew was one of the earliest North American hires at Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), where he played a key role in scaling the company from startup to global AMR leader. He delivered over 50 distributor and client training sessions, covering robot operation, API integration, and IoT systems, while managing large-scale fleet integrations in factories across multiple industries. Andrew also authored best practices and onboarding documentation that improved MiR’s technical deployment standards worldwide.

With a career spanning the full lifecycle of robotics deployment—sales, integration, training, and customer success—Andrew brings proven expertise in scaling automation solutions and supporting businesses in their transition to Industry 4.0.
